Had dinner at Bondi Hardware on a Sunday evening. This seems to be a very popular spot for people in their late twenties, which gives a nice vibe to the place.
The menu has changed from the one that is here on zomato, so it was a bit different than we expected. It still has some of the same dishes on it though.
We had the Garden Party cocktail, which was nice but a little to sweet (maybe we should've chosen another cocktail). During dinner we also had two different glasses of white wine, which weren't too convincing, but fine for with the food.
The meat is free range which is awesome!

The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend it if you like shared plates. The cocktails were also very good and worth the money. Overall the service was friendly and attentive especially given how busy they were. We booked relatively last minute for three so we chose to sit outside rather than on bar leaners in the window. The heaters were cranking and it was easier to have a conversation outside. If we had stayed inside where it was loud and there didn’t seem to be much social distancing going on, it could have been a different story. Didn't enjoy my lunch at Bondi Hardware. The Baja fish taco managed to be bland yet unpleasantly fishy at the same time. The pineapple salsa on top didn't add much flavour so lots of bottled hot sauce was needed to make it palatable. The beef taco was a solid effort though not very memorable. Coffee was terrible, it had a really strange aftertaste. Can't comment on the soft shell crab salad and the sliders as I didn't try them, but my friends seemed satisfied with their meals. Service was friendly and food came out pretty quickly. Shame about the quality of the food though. Would not return.

We came here for brunch a few days ago and had a horrible experience. We ordered three very simple dishes and it took 45 minutes to come out and when it did there was no apology for making us wait so long for food that would have taken 10 mins to prepare. The poached eggs were over done and toast was burnt!! the fish tacos were bland and seriously sad looking. Really unimpressed with our visit, would not come back here.

The food was lovely. The sweet potato chips were really nice and came out quickly. I really enjoyed the tuna poke bowl, very different to other places I've been????. My partner had the pepperoni pizza and thought it was average compared to other places but nonetheless we enjoyed our time there.
Best night out with life long friends. Great menu, great staff, exceptional service, fantastic location. We were 6 people out, shared many different dishes and just as many bottles of wine. Spend most of a Saturday evening sitting outside on a fantastic fantastic day in spring.
Food, ambience and music (Bob Marley was on) was absolutely amazing, although we waited awhile for the food to be served. There was 11 of us and we had the $32/person banquet. Favs of the day was the BBQ Chicken & Brussel sprouts and the sirloin with chimichurri ????????

I loooove this place! I’ve been walking past Bondi Hardware pretty much every day and always wanted to stop for breakfast one day. Such a cool places with good vibes, awesome interior, friendly staff and amazing food.
