Amazing vegan options for a BBQ joint! The cauliflower tacos are a must. BBQ chickpea sandwich a nice treat. Fries and nachos also excellent. Mac-n-cheese on point (not vegan/has bacon). Stoked to have stumbled upon this place. Vegetarian options: Two excellent vegan entree options and some vegetarian sides and apps, too. Highly recommend! The tacos were incredible and my husband loved the ribs because they melted in his mouth. The only downside was that I was too full to try their tempting dessert! The service was excellent and we dined in for dinner. The price per person was between $10 and $20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect rating of 5. I would recommend trying the Tex N' Mac and the Ribs. There was plenty of parking available in a free parking lot.
One of those food finds! Great food with some creative flair. I would not have been surprised to find this in Dallas TX, or even NYC, but Whitehall, Mi? If you like barbecue and you want fresh, you won’t be disappointed. We have now had the ribs, several of the creative sandwiches and all were excellent. The ribs were excellent, but the order taker had trouble hearing us due to loud kitchen music. The music was good, but too loud. Wheelchair accessibility was good. Service for dining in was good. The cauliflower tacos and black beans are delicious. The black beans have been prepared differently recently, and I think it's an improvement. They used to taste overly limey, but now they are more subtle. The chickpea BBQ is decent, and I still order it occasionally for a change. I'm disappointed that they don't offer any jackfruit options, though.
