It’s now day 20 waking up and feeling sick AGAIN after getting food poisoning eating in Bonefish grill Schaumburg with another guest. It was suppose to be a special dinner for her and it ended up being the worst restaurant experience of my life- waiting almost 15 minutes for service, being ignored by staff, and then receiving the worst server in the restaurant along with an outrageously abrupt food runner. Sometimes restaurants are busy and service is bad and that ruins my attitude and my meal-accepted. I tried to be nice with the manager and just let it go, BUT then I had no idea that both of us would then get sick….after eating the same item of food….that item that was not even ordered by...
Just left.bartender inattentive and no sense of urgency No sweetener with ice tea.no salt no pepper. Had to ask for everything Messed up the order as he was not paying attention to us.the first entree looked better than the shrimp and BaY scallop she received.used the same steak which sat and was over cooked on delivery. Ordered the halibut to go.stated I was looking at the wrong menu.showed him what I was ordering.said they were sold out. Forgot to put in to go order. Waited another 20 min.managet brought out food.no apology..didn't read the room. Left 10 tip ..haven't done that in years. But his service bordered on rude. Do better.will not be back
If it was possible, I would give 0 stars for the service there. We reserved the tables for early group dinner when there were few people. When we went there, we saw non-colored people sitting in seats with some privacy while we were given seats close to a restroom or places with frequent traffic. While being seated, a waiter with loose shoelaces came by, pulled a seat next to us, set his foot on top of the seat, and tied his shoelaces. I do not know if this was discrimination based on race, but I regret even giving the slightest bit of tip there.
My husband and I had a really great experience here tonight. We met nothing but friendly staff from start to finish. The hostess greeted us with a smile. She was conversational and outgoing, and our server, Maria, took exceptional care of us. My husband is a bit of a soda chugger, but our drinks were always full and the meal was delicious! The manager, Dan, came over and introduced himself to us and was extremely friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this place. Very enjoyable experience.
We were there last night and had an amazing time. All of our food was delicious especially my salad which was a new menu item, shaved Brussels sprouts salad. The salmon on it was excellent and it was one of the tastiest salads I ever had. Large enough for a dinner. But…… OUR SERVER COREY WAS THE BEST PART OF OUR EXPERIENCE. HE WAS ATTENTIVE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. WE NEVER HAD TO LOOK AROUND FOR HIM. Such a good time and it’s right in my own back yard. yay bonefish and of course COREY!!!!!!
The food was great! I made a reservation and my friend arrived first. She was seated in front of the bathrooms, but I asked to be moved and wanted a booth. They gladly moved us without any issues. The service was excellent! And it was not too loud for us to talk. Which the 3 of us did a lot of! Lol We were not rushed out even after we paid and were still talking. (This was a small Bachelorette dinner) I have been here before and would return again!
