Visited last night with the kids as was on the lookout for something quick, cheap and cheerful and it was exactly that. The burgers were great, I had le Betty which was chicken breast, ricotta cheese and beetroot. Two daughters 10 and 13 had kids meal , choice of cheese burger or plain chicken with chips and a drink, good value. Son had beef with caramelised onions and hubby had beef with chorizo. All loved the burgers. Chips were home cut but greasy. Drinks were very expensive €4 for a soft or water! Place itself was decked out modernly but other no AC and lots of flies. Staff were exceptionally pleasant. I wouldn't return as I prefer to eat proper French food but we needed something quick...
We were happy to find Bonheur open on a Monday, when so many of the restaurants and cafes are closed in France. I was thrilled with my vegetarian burger, which consisted of ground broccoli, peas, onions, shallots and walnuts. Very satisfying and delicious. My husband chose the regular hamburger and fries, which was very tasty as well. The black interior of the cafe is a little intimidating at first, but once we got seated and experienced the warm, friendly, atmosphere, we sat back and enjoyed the experience of this little place, just down the road from our hotel (the Saint-Julien).
I have been to this restaurant three times now. They will let you take away if it is full, which it frequently is. I don't quite know why, but I find these burgers absolutely delicious. All the ingredients appear super fresh, from the bread through the meat and the salad in the burger. They also have good fries. I have tried one of the other burger places in Biarritz, to make a comparison and this place wins hands down.
Passed this small restaurant a few times during our stay and glad we gave it a try. It only has 8 tables plus a bench so you might have to wait for a table but it's well worth the wait. Reasonably priced, good portions, though we found the chips over salted glance 4 stars. Service was very good too. 10 euros for a burger with 4 for frites seemed quite reasonable

Popped by as another burger place was shut. Great choice of burgers to pick from. I chose the bleu burger with cheesy chips and side salad. The girlfriend chose the calif chicken burger. All very tasty.Would definitely return. Reasonably priced for the amount we had. 5 drinks, 2 burgers, 2 cheesy chips, 1 salad, 2 deserts. €61 euros!
The hamburgers are incredible and the place is really cool. The owners are really friendly and they like dogs so you can go to eat there with your pet or to take away. I was surprised with the quality of the food. It was probably one of the best hamburgers I have tried.
The burgers are fantastic and the place are very cool and comfortable. The service was very kind and they are very happy. I recomend it for sure
Cracking burger and waiter takes time to explain if your not sure. it's only small so you may have to wait for a table but it is worth it

Super burger and fries! Small and perfectly done for me. Artisanal beer was a nice complement to the burger done with such care!
Good meals. During the week it is a good place for lunch 15€ for a burger, fries and drink. Veggie options are good too.
