The food was great, but the service was poor. They have a wide selection of rolls and high-quality fish. Unfortunately, we were only given two minutes to look over their extensive menu. When we requested more time, we were granted just an additional minute. My partner felt rushed to order because the waitstaff kept asking about our choices. We ended up ordering a roll without avocado due to food allergies, but they mistakenly brought a different roll that included it. Rather than addressing the error, the staff seemed more frustrated with the misunderstanding than apologetic. Overall, the lack of consideration for our dietary needs was disappointing.

I tried Bonsai for the first time today and placed a pickup order. I ordered the chicken tempura rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, and a stone-sharp. I expected more, but it was nothing special—just like any other sushi place. The interior has about eight tables, but there are also outdoor seats with umbrellas. As for the meal, it was mediocre. I’m not sure I’ll be back to Bonsai again.

Here are my ratings: - Food: 5/5 - Service: 4/5 - Atmosphere: 4/5 The price per person was around $20–30. I highly recommend trying the Fresh Sashimi, Salmon and Avocado Roll, Beef Negimaki, Spider Roll, Trio Sushi, Miso Soup and Salad, and the Sashimi Dinner. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Fast service. The sushi was decent. The Gyoza was excellent. The Shrimp Tempura had way too much tempura and small shrimp. Beer was cold and the waitress was nice. Update: 2nd time here. The sushi was very good.

Bonsai 1 serves the best sushi! We often drive 30 minutes just to enjoy it. I definitely recommend it to everyone. The dining experience is always fantastic.
