Prices are good, some food was just ok, some not. Thai fried chicken had lightly battered, large pieces of boneless dark meat. Tasty like salt and pepper chicken, juicy meat. With white rice. Beef pad garlic over rice had small thinly sliced beef pieces in a dark sauce, with garlic bits good flavor. Salty fried rice had really salty pieces of fish. So salty even with the rice. Menu description for Beef soup said beef tendon so we picked it. Even confirmed with the waitress that it had tendon. There was none, only small thin slices of beef (same as in the pad garlic) and were not very tender; plus fishballs and bean sprouts. I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was at least 12 years old. I’m 36 now. Just to give you an idea. I usually ordered from this place 3 4x a week. In the past year though my meals have been wrong which they’ve rectified by offering me credit for my next order for what was missing. However, to get to the point my husband checked our bags and saw there was no hot sauce. He doesn’t like anything spicy so he just asked for ONE hot sauce and they made a big stink about it. Which I couldn’t believe because we had ordered TWO entrees. I visited Boon Chu Thai Place alone after work today. I ordered the hoy jor (deep-fried pork with crab meat) and the kapprow moo grub (spicy crispy fried pork over rice). Both dishes were flavorful, spicy, and delicious. The service was excellent—fast, attentive, and the staff was very friendly and kind. The restaurant’s atmosphere was calm and peaceful, so quiet that it felt like I was the only customer there, allowing me to fully enjoy my meal. I couldn’t have been happier with the experience and will definitely return next time!
I absolutely love Boon Chu—it's my favorite Thai restaurant! I've been coming here for several years, and I’ve never had a bad experience. While the indoor seating is limited, it hasn’t been a problem for me. The food is fantastic; it’s exactly what I crave when I'm in the mood for Thai cuisine. Plus, it’s affordable, so you won’t overspend even if you order several dishes. The Thai tea and coffee are incredibly refreshing and delicious—I can never get enough of them. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!

Best food for Thai!! Everything on the menu is so good. We'd always get the Dishes over rice with a fried egg Pad Kaprow and/or Khao Moo Grab). And their fish dishes!!! Used to be a block from my old apartment and would go there all the time. And we still drive from Jersey to eat here. Nothing beats this Boon Chu. The only thing is that they don't have a restroom to use Do you guys have any plans to open in New Jersey?!?!?!
This is the best Thai restaurant I've been coming to for nearly seven years, and it never disappoints. Whenever I'm in the middle of my meal and I hear the chef sneeze or make a loud noise from the kitchen, I know my food is about to be of three-star Michelin quality. We need to protect this chef at all costs—she's a gem!
I ordered takeout and loved it! The crispy fried pork with basil in chili sauce served over rice was incredibly delicious. If you're looking to reduce the spiciness without sacrificing flavor, I recommend adding a fried egg on top of the dish.
Grabbed a quick lunch with a friend. It’s very small. inside but i was able to get a seat. I ordered a basil fried rice and my friend got the pad thai. The thai iced teas were good. Food came out fast it flavorful and delicious. I recommend!

The seating area is small, but I can't complain about the food, quality, or service. I would definitely recommend others give it a try!
The pad kee mao is delicious, and the Thai iced tea is fantastic!
