Boon Kai (take Out Only)

TLDR: First time, would recommend, good food, great price, and will be back.To be honest the main reason we wanted to try this Chinese restaurant is because they are SAVAGE with Karen’s in the reviews haha. But after getting the food I’d come back for sure. I was happy they ACTUALLY made my General Taos “extra spicy” like I asked. I’m sweating haha. Soooo many times I ask other restaurants for extra spicy and they don’t seem to do anything. BOON Kai came through. THANK YOU. We enjoyed the fried rice, rangoons, egg roll, and the rest.

We've been frequenting Boon Kai for years, and it has always been our favorite spot. However, since moving, we hadn't had the chance to go in a while. I was excited to see that they were on DoorDash, but I was really disappointed. The rolls seemed different and didn't taste as good as before. The sweet and sour sauce also wasn't the same, which was a letdown. The chicken was overly crunchy now. Whatever changes you've made, I wouldn't have. Overall, the meal was just okay.

Boon Kai had always been one of my favorite restaurants!! I still enjoy the food, but it depends on what I am getting. The chicken fried rice was fantastic! But it seems like the dinner rolls have changed in taste and I’m just not keen on them. I’m also not a fan of the sweet and sour sauce anymore. Very friendly and fast service though!

The food was disgusting burnt over cooked egg roll under cooked foil stuck to my chicken the rice was different so they must of changed it it was so disappointing I've been going for years twice know it's been bad Reserva una mesa ahora

I love almost everything from here including the peppersteak but I do wonder is the black bean sauce on it black soybeans or black beans?

Nothing beats the start of a weekend than Orange Chicken and an amazing dinner roll from Boon Kai. Been eating here for 20+ years!
