Boo-ray's Of New Orleans

We're going back to Boo's. I can’t wait to go back and bring friends. My wife and I stopped in for dinner on a Monday and we were surprised to find a good size crowd on an “off” night. We were greeted and seated quickly by a friendly staff.<br/ <br/ I ordered shrimp stuffed with cheese and a tweak of jalapeño wrapped with bacon. My wife had crab-and-shrimp-stuffed tilapia. When our crab cake appetizers arrived, I said to my wife “Oh yeah. This is going to be a good night,” because in front of us were four big, delicious made-from-scratch crab cakes with minced red and green peppers. Yum.<br/ <br/ The main dishes were equally delicious and fresh and we talked about our food throughout the meal.<br/ <br/ The place is big and can handle large groups. It has a smoking section. There is a full bar adjacent to a smoking/dining area which can seat about 12 at small tables and a few in bar atmosphere. We sat in the larger non-smoking area and had no smell of smoke. The main part of the restaurant is big, bright and decorated casual Mardi Gras style.

My hubby and I ate here today! Excellent all the way. The shrimp crawfish fondue,delicious!!!!! The fried catfish, fried, hush puppies and green beans,yummy-o and the shrimp and crawfish etoufee...excellent! Service just as good and non smoking even better. I will be back asap!! 04/13/14

Love this place! They have something for everyone. I'm almost always choose beef over chicken but when I come here, I get the stuffed Chicken. It is awesome! I love that they have boudin!

Be sure to ask for Teigan for a server, she is the BEST! So sweet, attentive, and truly wants to make your experience great! The food was wonderful here....

LOVE this place!  Food is amazing.  Drinks are awesome and great prices too!  Fun atmosphere!  We go as often as we can and always bring out of town guests!
