the boathouse must be approached in a targeted way or follow a recommendation, because otherwise you do not get lost to the saale beach in Weißfels. but if you have overcome the hurdle of search, you will be rewarded with a beautiful locality. here you are very friendly and courteously served and perceived as a real hospitable. eating is sweetly prepared and very tasty. in the warm season you should choose a terrace place in any case, because such a view on the saalebogen is not expected in white rocks.
we were on the way to the house of berlin and wanted to come in at lunchtime. I then searched for something and I stayed here due to the good reviews. the restaurant has a huge map. of which only one with six is directed. the remaining twenty are full of drinks and wine. eating was good and the service was friendly. inside the ambiente is not really nice - is rather a summer restaurant. the prices were quite normal - at least not cheap as written in other reviews.
We were 3 people and had dinner outside. The place was very busy and inside was a party going on with loud music. This was disturbing to us but we enjoyed the nice river view anyway and the food was good too. We had a trout dish, a pasta dish and matjes herring with an extra order of veggies. The food was OK, and the waitress cooperative with changes in the menu. I would go there again.

as an outing place, to eat or with beautiful weather also on the wonderful terrace. is recommended. on Sundays also with music (brunch) unfortunately, the staff is somewhat overloaded. the prices are only according to the situation. parking possibilities close to but limited.
