Bordello's Italian Pizzeria

I have to preface my review by saying, like all reviews, everything has to be taken in perspective. If you haven't been to Italy and if you've never lived in a large, cosmopolitan city, you perhaps have never had a great Italian food experience and perhaps you're one of the reviewers who found this place to be great. I mean if you compare it to frozen pizza or Domino's, then yes, it's pretty good. However, I am fortunate to have been to Italy twice (2 of the best trips I've ever had by the way) and I live in Vancouver BC, a city renowned for our many great restaurants, including several spectacular Italian ones (Cioppinos and La Quercia are just a couple to check out if you're ever in Vancou...

Tried this on our last night, July 4th, about 8pm. Waitress brought menus and immediately apologised for having NO pasta. An Italian restaurant? Really? Needless to say we left.This wasn't our 1st attempt to eat here. Tried on the evening of 27th June. Had a beer downstairs. Told waitress we'd be going up for food shortly. 8.30ish. Was told this was perfect. Finished beer. Went upstairs to be told the kitchen had shut because it was too quiet!What a place! On the plus side, after the "no pasta" episode, we discovered Antico Pizzeria. Absolutely beautiful authentic Italian food

This is a small little place on the second floor, not good for large groups at all. We brought our 2 toddler and it was fine, they have highchairs. The food was very good. We had the garlic knots and aranchini to start. And the cannelloni and a pizza for our mains. All were good and the kids loved it too. Would go back.

This restaurant had great food. The pizza was amazing. My son had the meatballs with pasta and loved it. Great atmosphere and authentic Italian food.

Best pizza in town, just make sure that you book in advance because it's a small restaurant and fills up quickly.
