I've given Boston Market on York Road several chances, but each visit has been disappointing. The store is often closed due to staffing shortages, or they have fewer than five items available on the menu. I went specifically to try the new chicken bites, but they were out. I attempted to order other menu items, only to find they weren't available either. Despite this inconvenience and having just an hour for lunch, I was still charged full price. The food I received was cold and appeared to be several days old. The staff was very rude, even though only three employees were working—one of whom just stood around doing nothing. Poor customer service and logisitics. I ordered online 20 min. before I arrived. I got there and there were no customers in the store and there was one other online order on the screen which I was in front of. They did not even start my order and then toldme they did not have 2 of my 3 meals I ordered. They were all over the place and could find sauces, salad, or the rightSomepeople came in behind me and instead getting all of my order together they help someone who came in behind me with a regularwalking. THE POINT of online is so it will be ready or almost ready by the time you get there!! Why wait til get there to startan order I already paid for- I could have just walked in and ordered.
I walked in at 8 PM and immediately felt pressured to place my order. They were out of spicy nuggets and gravy. One of the staff members had AirPods in and seemed indifferent, as if my presence was an inconvenience. I also struggled to communicate with him because he was mumbling and not speaking clearly. To top it off, the chicken was extremely dry, and the corn was stale. I ended up tossing everything and making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich instead. This was my first visit to this location, and it will definitely be my last.
This place was horrible I'm sorry to say this but It seems like only one person was in the back cooking everything The rice tasted like it was A-day old and hard The Mac and cheese were salty They didn't have much to choose from It was empty nothingThe lady in front she was nice The only issue I have is You cannot Handle money and food at the same time Or credit cards it'sfilled with germs I find that very disgusting deal with the money put gloves on and handle the food. Furthermore, the chicken was very dry, almost like it had been leftover from the previous day. The chicken pot pie was just a pile of chicken with no vegetables whatsoever. We ordered two bowls, and they left out the spinach in one and the BBQ sauce in the other, despite my specific request for extra BBQ sauce—none was provided at all! For a $216 order, you would think they would pay more attention to the requests. I will not be ordering from here again!
This place is a shadow of its former self. The problems are too many to count. I went in, surveyed the scene, talked to the cashier—who was the only sign of life—and left without even considering buying anything. The limited food available looked like it had been sitting out since the day before. Honestly, I don’t know how they’re still in business, and I doubt they will be for much longer.
Pretty bummed about this place.I've ordered from there 4 times over the past year. The food is good.... but not once has my order been correct.Usually it's the sides. Last night, one side was missing and so was the meatloaf. I think last night was the last time I am ordering from there. There's no point in me paying money for food I won't even receive.
The Nashville hot chicken sandwich with pickles and ranch dressing was completely lacking in flavor—something was definitely missing. I’ll regret not enjoying this one more. The lemonade tasted like plain water, and when they were out of Sprite, they just gave me water. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

The restaurant often lacks enough prepared sides and seasonal meats during peak dinner hours. I'm often left disappointed when they don't have rice, ribs, or brown gravy for the potatoes. The food is always delicious when I can get what I'm looking for, but that doesn't happen often enough.
