When we made our reservation online, the only menu option available was the Deluxe Lunch tasting menu. Luckily, we were able to secure a reservation at this highly sought-after restaurant. Upon arrival, we requested a modification to the regular lunch menu as my partner and I do not consume alcohol. The staff was very accommodating and reassured us that it was not a problem. This level of service set the tone for the entire meal. The service was outstanding and the staff were warm and friendly. The atmosphere and setting could not have been better – a beautiful sunny day surrounded by the lush greenery of Sydney's botanical gardens. We had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. Our waitress was inattentive and even admitted to forgetting about us. The waiter left our wine in the ice bucket without checking if it was the right one or offering us a taste. We had to pour our own wine and refill our glasses throughout the meal. Additionally, the exit was difficult to find and located far from where we entered, leaving us feeling frustrated and unsafe in the dark. Despite the great dinner and location, the poor service and confusing exit made the night less enjoyable.

We always love dining at the Gardens and today was no exception. The food was delightful, the service was excellent, and the view was beautiful. Opting for the tasting menu made the experience even more enjoyable, as deciding what to order can often be a challenge!

Beautiful setting but our table was very big for 5 people and the restaurant was noisy, so hard to hear each other. Dessert was outstanding!
