We booked dinner quite late and the staff fitted us in no problem. The Bottle Glass is a very nice looking pub, rustic lighting and furnishings, it’s a classy place. We were seated right next to a roaring log burner, nice touch. The staff warned us things might be slow on the service due to being very busy. Fair enough at least we were warned. The food? A baked Camembert to share for starters. This was delicious but I would argue it was more for one than 2 people. 3 small bits of bread were served. Why 3? 3 bits of bread each would have been fine. Suberin food and attentive staff. Having heard very good things regarding the food, we decided to give it a whirl! Having children with us (2 x 4 year olds and 2 x under 1’s) we’re always a little nervous about going for a sit down meal!! Staff were incredibly attentive and nothing was a problem. Children’s choices were brilliant, main menu and Sunday roast options. As was the main menu for adults, every option on the roasts with the addition of ‘off menu’ items. We had lamb, beef chicken (kids) and sea bass. All were absolutely amazing. We also had the 3 for £12 sides (cauliflower cheese, mash, and broccoli) these were in addition to the veg you get with the meal. All I can say is AMAZING!...

I am very disappointed that I had not visited this restaurant before, and I definitely will not be returning. The menu was small, so I had high expectations for the quality of the food. However, the bruschetta starter we ordered was a soggy mess on what appeared to be half a bread roll. When my husband mentioned this to the waitress, she said she would try to fix it but never returned to our table. Our main course was burgers, which were served on a wooden board with a small portion of chips in a container. I have had much better meals at a lower price of £18 elsewhere. Overall, this was not a good dining experience for the high price we paid.

We have tried this places a few times over the last year and sadly it never gets better . We arrived quite by accident this evening and thought we might as well try it again . Ordered 1 starter mains came out first took back to the kitchen came back with 2 starters we only ordered 1 took back to the kitchen came back with the correct order but not very appetising see pic) mains came out stone cold sent back to the kitchen came back like warm potatoes hard and either been stood all day or reheated several times expensive Sunday menu £25 for two courses £25 for 4 drinks . Seven of us enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch every course was superb. Service was great professional and friendly. Drinks inc wine were very good. Great atmosphere and and attractive decor only slight niggle is that half our party had to sit on a bench with no back which wasn’t that comfortable so we didn’t stay for coffee. A stool at the end of the table was replaced with a chair by a helpful member of staff

The food at this pub/restaurant was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place itself is beautiful, but I can't stress enough how good the food was. We had Sunday lunch and I had the orange chicken liver terrine followed by the pan-fried sea bass in a red Thai sauce, and Affogato for dessert. The rest of the party had the traditional Sunday roast and it was just perfect.

Lovely pub inside and out. The staff are really friendly and helpful also. We didn’t have a meal here so cannot advise on that. Drinks especially the wine is a bit expensive but they are quality wines so expect to pay that bit more. Hubby drinks real ale and was happy with the choices they had.

This was our first time visiting The Bottle Glass. The food was lovely and the staff were very welcoming and displayed excellent customer service. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Reserva una mesa ahora

An outstanding Burns Night taster evening!! Each course was executed perfectly. Wonderful food and service throughout. Compliments to the chef and staff for a fabulous evening. 5
