The star rating would be zero if I was able to award. Booked Liverpool Bougee months ago for a 50th birthday, had a 4 hr round trip, tried to call them to discuss allergies for one of the party with no one answering the phone. Saturday arrived and managed to get through to another branch only to find out Liverpool branch was closed. Bougee once again demonstrates contempt for its customers. Absolutely disgusted with this restaurant and will not be booking it again. Would have only taken a phonecall to tell prebooked customers of the closure. Zero stars from me.
I had a terrible experience with the customer service at this restaurant. I received an email informing me that they were not open and offered a £50 credit for the five of us to use at another venue in Chester, but they didn’t accept my response to this offer. Meanwhile, they have taken our money at the clubhouse in Liverpool, where they actually value their customers. It's a disgrace, especially considering my 5-year-old niece was so excited to go to Boujee.
The restaurant was closed when I arrived for my booking, despite having communicated with them on Instagram. I had made a reservation for a hen party, and they were in touch with me right up until the day of the booking without mentioning that they would be closed. We showed up only to find the place shut down. I've tried reaching out to them since then, but they have completely ignored my messages. This is a complete lack of customer support and service.
booked for my friends 40th birthday. we booked outside seats for the experience to say if we were at the venue outdoor seating is not up and we would sit up, they could not find our booking and after my confirmation on my phone said they had 2 booking systems and they did not use them in the rule this . very disappointed from the sitting question would have been better to say this before. it must decrease the booking if it is not available.

the service was very bad, too busy and not enough staff. repent the half of the time to get the personal attention to order a drink when we were asked for water for the table, it was said that there was a backlog at the bar for water so that she would “do her best”! Finally we were given the bill (without asking us to ask while we still had our food) due to the 2 hour drink that would have been in order to put another bad one!
The restaurant had a limited menu, and as someone who isn't a fan of sushi, I didn't find much to enjoy. I felt the prices were a bit high; it seemed more like a trend than a true culinary experience. However, the cocktail was delightful, though I wish there had been more of it—only a third of a glass for £10 was a bit disappointing.
Cancelled a week before we were due to come. We had it booked for a fee months. Was traveling 2 and a half hours and had already booked a hotel for our friends 30th. Emailed them and still yet to receive a reply.
Restaurant was closed for business upon our arrival! Googled it and it said that the restaurant had been closed since the 5th July! No notice and even asked me to confirm my reservation of 9!!! The day before
