Boulangerie Du Lac

If you cycle around Lake Annecy, DO NOT miss stopping at this bakery, located just past the 10km point. My huge regret is not photographing the ridiculously large and equally delicious pastries we purchased and enjoyed overlooking the lake on seating just down the road. Amongst the best we enjoyed in France and perfect fuel for the cycle back to town.

This became our local boulangerie whilst on holiday in Duingt. We would walk to the shop every morning for croissants, pain au chocolate, brioche etc etc. The range of breads, pastries, desserts etc was amazing. Excellent quality and definitely deserves its excellent reputation. A fantastic traditional bakery with friendly service.

This bakery became our family tradition, a morning walk followed by bakery perfection and a cafe au lait. Great service, perfect tarte and good cafe all by the lake side. Every day that I don’t have the chance to stop by is a sad day…

Bread, pastries , cakes all baked on the premises . Just great sitting outside with a lovely frothy cappuchino from coffee shop (one door down) and a croissant X

If you can speak a couple of words in French it helps. But unbelievablely good local pastry etc. Great spot to pick up breakfast.
