It seems there were 3 bread shops in Erdeven. Now there are two. B-P Robic seems to be the most popular together with the Salon de The. We enjoyed the bread that we bought. However, we bought two Mille Feuilles which were so dismal that we only had one mouthful - tasted strongly of malt and at first we thought they were burnt - very little filling too and not very appetising. But we're willing to give the place a second try next time.
We haven't been to the actual tea room, so can't comment on this, we only went to get breakfast there. The artisan bread is really really good and tasty and the cakes were delicious. Shame we only came across this bakery right at the end of our holidays, otherwise we would have gone there more often. Really worth the visit, can only recommend.
Super leckere Ware, angefangen von knusprigem Baguettes, über Pain au Chocolat, Croissants, Eclairs ..... Die Leute sind wahnsinnig freundlich und erklären alles, und das Ganze auch noch auf Französisch, Englisch und Deutsch. Das Ambiente ist herrlich auch im Salon du the. You are looking for a bakery like we don't make anymore: real bread, a perfect welcome, the old-world charm of a bakery. No flashiness but quality products, that is to say the essentials. I recommend stopping there and asking for advice on your breads. A delight.
