We were traveling north, back to Switzerland, and stopped at Paul in the Chamnord shopping center in Chambèry, France for breakfast. The selection was amazing we opted for some of the mouthwatering croissants. We sat at the tables indoors as it was already warming up quickly outide. The friendly employee provided cups of freshly brewed coffee and fruit juice. We also purchased sandwiches and a large, freshly made salad to take to a friend's for lunch. The baguettes were fresh and crisp, and were very generously filled with a wide variety of items. Peeking through the open space behind the counter, I could see a young baker putting finishing touches on more delicately handcrafted bakery items...
