Michael Mina?s restaurant in the Waldorf Astoria. came here in a group of 14 for a post-proposal celebration and we had a reservation at 8 a.m., but we were not sitting on a Saturday night until half an hour after the time. Parking only $10 with validation). Interior and outdoor food. Credit cards accepted. Rest rooms outside the restaurant at the Hotel am Ballsaal. The service was nice when they were present, but there were long distances of waiting for sitting, while waiting for order and during waiting for check. By food, the anvil was a tuna bite on a rice cracker, the middle was a bit soggy). We decided to do family style so that we can try more things. The Tomahawk is good for 2-3 people to share and comes with 2 pages. It comes with table service, so if you enjoy pomp, it is a good dish to order. The brussel sprouts and the truffles Mac and cheese were the best options. The mushrooms would be the next best. The asparagus was too buttery and the mushroom risotto was a bit bland. I liked the free bread provided while the free pommes were just okay some had too much rosemary on it). I liked them to give the option of 3 dips. We also got the NY Striploin, which had a light radio, and was preferable to Tomahawk. In my opinion, Wagyu was the best tasting cut. The consensus was that the Tomahawk would have used more season/salt. Dessert-wise, they gave us free chocolates that had Gandache filling. We have a chocolate bar with honey ice cream on the side. I have a pot of green tea they have to ask Jasmin and Sencha for the tea aficionados. They also gave us caramel popcorn as a parting gift. It was definitely an experience to splurge, but I have mixed feelings about food and service.
