We went to pick up food on Thursday, March 16th for a family of 6. There was a lineup and thus reason to believe that others might have been food poisoned as well. We all ordered either chicken shish taouk plates or pitas and beef with toum and hummus. Symptoms appeared the day after and since Boustan is the only food we all had in common and that we were all sick, there is no doubt that Boustan is the culprit. Symptoms included severe vomiting and bowel movements, fever, stomach cramps and pain, cold sweats and headache. Note that kids also experienced those symptoms, which lead to dehydration. Tambien hay Kibe,Baklava, Taboulé, platos vegetarianos, Couscous, y hay una ensalada que me llamò la atenciòn que se llamaFATOUCHE y la puedes pedir con Pollo. Took out food from Boustan West Island and it was my first time ever eating Boustan's food. It was just ok. Chicken in my pita was dry. The Sauce just ok taste wise and both the sauce and pita seemed greasy and heavy. The salad plate didn't have much vegetables and was ladden with that same greasy sauce. I won't go back - the take out counter at Adonis is faster, cheaper and food has a far better taste and quality.
I am surprised to read some criticism because for me Boustan beats Amir and Basha any day. They are not overly priced, the food is good and the staff is always friendly and respectful. And believe me I am picky. I am so happy to have this place in the west island. I used to pick up food from the miserable staff at the Adonis ready food counter, but I don't need them anymore Keep it up Boustan

Boustan is officially a very very filthy restaurant. I found hair in my Chicken Pita sandwich. I went into this restaurant about 3 times and today was the last time. The staff is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I am so disgusted and I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you want good food and good service go to Amir or Basha.
Avoid at all cost... we all got terribly sick... never again... I understand that they are busy and perhaps cannot handle the volume, but it's no reason to cut on food safety...
Boustan has the best falafel pita sandwich in town and very friendly service! Highly recommended! Tell them you want the spicy sauce; its divine ;)
Had three pita's filled-one vegetarian and two falafel --all delicious. Staff anxious to please.. Will return to try the chicken !

Your typical fast food Lebanese food, similar to Amirs. Portions and price are decent. Very clean restaurant.
the chicken is juicy and crispy and the portions are generous. I make 2 meals out of the one take out.
