Bovine Steakhouse

Other than our server Abe, who tried hard to deal with long delays from the bar and kitchen, we had a poor experience. Drinks took very long even though the bar was empty and the restaurant not very full when we arrived and soda flared was flat. Took a long time to get our order in and food took an hour to arrive only to have to send my son's steak back twice. It was ordered medium well, came out medium rare, then out again medium, and then finally medium well when we were all done eating. The other food was mediocre at best and certainly not worthy of the prices. We were compelled to ask for the manager the 2nd time the steak went back. He made adjustments to the bill and did not charge for that steak but seemed indifferent and frustrated himself. The restaurant definitely needs food runners and busboys and the use of trays to deliver drinks and food would also make a huge difference in the absence of runners.the restaurant was highly recommended to us for a special dinner with our son, a steak lover.

My pet pev when dining out with my husband is to be welcomed into the establishment with the phrase Hi Guys . BoVive is a HIGH end steakhouse and your hostess should refrain from using the word Guys. Frank our server welcomed us with hi Folks when we were seated. My rack if lamb was delicious but very pricey. My husband had bone in rib eye that he brought half home. The dressing on the wedge salad was yummy. We had gift cards that we used. Won 't be going again as the whole menu was very over priced.

Went to Bovine to celebrate a birthday. Two steaks ordered medium rare came out very rare and one steak ordered rare came out medium at best. They adjusted the the overcooked steak. Appetizers were very good (bacon and burrata), as were the salads. Service was adequate yet slow and unengaged, not what you would expect when paying $70+ for steaks. Maybe just an off night, but have had better experiences there in the past.

The food is Delicious. Intimate location. In my experience I expected more attentiveness I had to walk to the bar to get water and for a $200 dinner you expect a little more attentiveness. Service is hit or miss in most places so take that with a grain of salt.

Restaurant was empty. Food not prepared as ordered. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were very good. Overpriced.
