Bovino Steakhouse - Reserva de mesa

we have visited bovinos often in the last 9 years and usually rave over it. but this time our experience was mixed. the bar area at bovino is a wow factor. the cocktail mixologist was great and gave us an excellent experience. once in the main restaurant the service was very slow. the food lasted age groups, the offer of more drinks was slow and we sat with empty glasses mostly. eating was tasty and well presented when it arrived, what was disappointing. the food was well cooked, tasty and attractive presented.

Wine was served a year other than young. Kellner did not mention that it was different until challenged. Steak was also cooked against what was requested. Frankly food wine) is too expensive for quality. Also restaurant was under renovation, which we did not know until we arrived. Overall disappointing experience this time .

this restaurant never fails to deliver even after our fifth time there, we still love it. the cocktails are amazing and the personal is about eating and drinking extremely knowledgeable. one of our highlights of our visit to the algarve. highly recommended.

The food was very good, but the service was terrible, ordered beer and it never came, looked at the wine menu and was not asked if we would like to order at any time. It was a very quiet night and the staff just talked to each other all night.

Could not fault Bovino, best and most consistent restaurant in QDL! Food was incredible and make sure you explore the cocktail menu! We looked to change the signature cuts option, replacing rump for lamb chops and it was a brilliant choice!

Great food, lovely steak house restaurant very smart, Bar staff were sharp table service not so on it. Down side was the €50 over charge on the bill ! Took the edge off an other wise really good night. Will return
