I visited from out of town for the Indian Festival in Santa Fe, and everyone kept recommending this place before my flight out of Albuquerque. Wow, it turned out to be one of my favorite breweries in the world! Having worked in three breweries and visited over 100, I know good beer when I taste it, and this place definitely stands out. The guava gose and poblano imperial stout are two of the best beers I've ever tried! The taproom is absolutely stunning, but since the weather was so nice, I opted to sit outside. The staff were fantastic, and Andrew was especially helpful and fun to chat with. The story behind the brewery is truly inspiring, and I have great respect for the indigenous people...

This was likely the worst brewery experience I've had in town. I stopped by for just one drink, which I picked up at the bar. The server simply needed to grab a glass and pour the beer, and after that, I closed my tab. I noted the total for the beer on the receipt and left a zero tip since the service was minimal. However, when I checked my bank account later, I was shocked to see that the server had added a tip to my bill without my consent. This feels like a very dishonest business practice. If a customer chooses to tip, that's great, but forcing it when they've decided not to is unacceptable. Definitely one of my top breweries in town. They have a wide range of great beers. While some breweries have good IPAs but lame dark beers, a few good stouts but so-so lagers, Bow Arrow delivers top taste on all categories. The vibes are great, decor is awesome, music is fun but not over the top or too clubby. Food trucks have been reliably good every time I’ve come. This is definitely one I keep at the top of the list any time someone is visiting or new to town and I’m trying to show off the best of Burque.
