Great place , like a tardis, people are so friendly and helpful, we had tea/coffee and scones, absolutely delicious. We travel around many places on the motorbike and visit lots of different places and has been meaning to stop there for ages and we’re are glad we did. We checked out the menu and watched all the different dishes being served up etc, great selection of cakes , wide choice etc. Thanks to Jackie staff member in the cafe shop, who spent time to chat with us. Plenty of spaces inside or out and all the food looked fabulous. We will be back sooner rather than later. Plenty to see in the garden/aquatic centre
My wife and I had the Gardeners Breakfast last week. Really delicious Beautifully cooked and presented. We also had the latte in a lovely colourful mug. (Best latte we have had anywhere) We are both disabled and walk with sticks. But without asking the staff offered to carry our tray to the table. Excelent service and such cheerful staff. It was a pleasure for us to eat there. We used to come to the cafe a few years ago but due to health reasons havent been for some time. Looking forward to many visits in the future.
Great place to stop on a long journey, or if you are local and a keen gardener, or with family or meeting friends. I only stopped for coffee, but I could have spent much longer there: as well as a great variety of plants and garden necessities, they also sell gifts and tropical fish, besides which there is even a post office. Friendly helpful staff and a nice selection of food available. If you sit outside you are surrounded by the plants and there is a little rivulet running through the site giving a lovely sound.
We are regular diners here; be it a snack, a cream tea, afternoon teas, a breakfast, main meal or a wonderful Sunday lunch (we've tried them all) the food is always delicious, served with a friendly smiling face and great value for money! The very best garden centre cafe in Devon, indeed I'd say the best cafe and our family agree too! Sometimes I feel guilty as I don't always buy a plant, they're fantastic quality too but we always end up with another fish for our aquarium! Highly recommended in every way.

Found this place by accident while house sitting for family in Haterleigh. drove past on the friday came back on the saturday for brekfast. what a place a fantastic find. lovely clean airy resturant. staff polite and friendly. brekfast one of the best i have had for a long time will have no hesetation in comming back again when we next come to house sit.
A wonderful spot to sit outside with a meal or hot drink. Tables are available under shelter as well should the weather be bad (probably a good thing given this summer! Their breakfasts are superb and at an excellent price as well. they also employ extremely competent and, more imprtantly, friendly staff. Shame I can offer only 5 stars!
Really nice place. Visit here regularly with the whole family, nice and safe little indoor play area as well as an outside park area for young children. Coffee is excellent and the food is really good too, really good service. Always enjoy our times here.
2nd time visiting and can't fault food. The Sunday roast was amazing and today we had curry . Friendly staff and great small indoor and outdoor play area for small children
