Last week, we found ourselves in need of a last-minute caterer for a private event in Hudson County. Linda from the café promptly responded to our online inquiry, and by the same day, we had our menu finalized and ready to go. The food, delivery, and setup were exceptional. I can’t express enough how great it was to work with her and the chef. We are incredibly thankful for how they managed to pull everything together on such short notice, and our clients were very satisfied. What a great hidden gem!! We moved to JC several months ago and always passed this spot by thinking it's just a cafe but it's so much more! The staff is so friendly and when we went on a Sunday morning the place was basically empty but the server was attentive and polite. We loved the furniture and seating which looks like it came from an antique shop. It creates a cozy place to enjoy coffee. We were most impressed at the full menu of eggs,French Toast and other delights that are served in a healthy portion. Everything tastes fresh and comforting. Definitely recommend trying this place on the regand spending time appreciating the art and ambiance. A great hidden gem in the nabe!!!

I stopped in because it was the only coffee shop google showed was open besides Starbucks. I ended up grabbing a latte and dessert. They were both good, but what I stayed for was the general atmosphere. It's just such a quaint place! I like the comfy chairs and individual table lamps. I ended up sitting to listen to the live music and journal a bit. I'll probably stop back by for weekend brunch to try something new.

We discovered this restaurant on Google and decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere brought everything together perfectly. We ordered the croque monsieur, avocado toast, and dark chocolate coffee, and everything had a homemade taste. We’re already looking forward to going back next weekend! Reserva una mesa ahora

Delicious food. Amazing service. Awesome decor. Rarely open. Had to take a star away because the best ability is availability. The only con to this delicious food is craving it and not being able to get it because they've closed early. But that's the story of small businesses in small neighborhoods.

Absolutely loved the interior and menu options. Kind of gives me speakeasy vibes! The lady who took my order was very sweet and told me about they host fun events. Will be bringing a few friends to join me here!

I went for breakfast and the menu is missing some basic breakfast, such eggs, bagels etc. I ended with a grill cheese sandwich…. It was very good….Good coffee, no decaf options. Highly recommended to go.

Great food, freshly made ? great environment, and verbal 1920s look and feel . Held a murder mystery birthday bash, and it was amazing!

The olive platter is outstanding! Linda is a wonderful host. The musicians performing at Box are exceptional.
