We asked 3 months ago after our wedding at the end of May and got this also without problems (until the end of February). Until then, everything was good. In our just printed invitation we informed our guests that a room at the Brätutigam Hotel can be booked on our behalf. Once the first reservation is made, we will simply receive the information from the Bräutigam Hotel by e-mail, which is renovated and no rooms are available. When we spoke to the boss by phone, it's simply lapidar that they can't do anything and that there was no reservation until today and therefore the decision was made to renovate over this period. We have not been informed in writing or by telephone, and we have counted on the room rate for our wedding guests. Unfortunately, the invitations have already been printed, but fortunately they have not yet been sent (we need to adapt the invitations and now print them back to our costs). We just wanted to book a room for our family in advance and make it so attentive (early before the invitation). It's from the boss's side that they can't do anything, and we've been informed what's just wrong. She said it's just bad luck now, and they can't do anything. This is a bad example of the service in the hotel industry. Walk from the hotel for occasions!
