Although the food was great. Being seated in your back room when we had made advance reservations felt like we were eating at McDonalds. There were open seats in the main dining area and the host for some reason wanted us seated in your back room. We come to Branca not only for your food but also the experience and ambiance of better dining and it was disappointing that the host insisted on seating us in the back room when you clearly had availability in the main dining area. We had a lovely dinner at Branca Midtown Food was very tasty, I had the basil gemeli and there was lots of sauce very good balance of pasta and veggies, great quality of food,my fiance got the gnocchi which was also great. The restaurant is cute but it got very loud after 7- we couldn't talk to each other towards the end of our meal- so I would recommend going a little early before it gets too loud.
Mostly positive impressions. Our server was very professional and made great recommendations. The vegetarian and scallop entrees were 5 stars. The gnocchi could have used a side. The downside was that the restaurant is very loud. The acoustics made it almost impossible to hear our table's conversation. We skipped dessert just to remove ourselves from the volume of noise.
The kitchen tells you how to order and then the food comes out cold. We were stuffed in a back room--we felt like we were demoted to the kids table. For the amount of money we spent, it was a very mediocre experience and probably won't return. The only positive-our server Jed was great.

Upscale area of Rochester New York area, specifically the downtown Rochester New York. It is located in the heart of downtown and offers up a high end selection of breakfast lunch brunch and dinner menu selections. I would highly recommend to anyone that is in the area.
The food is outstanding! Honey pepperoni pizza best ever. They had an amazing peach dessert!!! Incredible. Staff friendly and attentive. Love sitting outside and they are pet friendly. One of the best restaurants in town, very reasonable price. Great atmosphere.
Refreshing modern Italian. Try the ricotta and any dish with their almond pesto. Delicious! Also the “Juice Cleanse #2” cocktail is excellent.
Good food service and fun atmosphere. Dont get to pricey now this isn't NYC
