let me tell you first off I'm not a coleslaw guy but I'm really not a big beans guy so I ordered the coleslaw for a side. there's a reason why I'm telling you this before I say anything about the meal. this is what coleslaw is supposed to taste like. this place is well over a 2-hour drive to my house but I'm coming here every time I want coleslaw. Overall, it was a positive experience. This was my first time dining there, and I can confidently say that the burger made the visit worthwhile. Unfortunately, my experience with the service was not as great. While everyone was polite and friendly, I found the service to be lacking. My server only came to my table three times throughout the evening: to take my order, to check on my food when it was brought out by someone else, and to bring the check. I would have ordered another drink, but she never returned after bringing my meal. The check sat there for quite a while before I could pay, prompting the hostess to notice and step in. She kindly apologized and took care of processing my card....
Recently tried Brandt's for the first time ever! What a hidden gem! So many options and a variety of different items for all tastes. We were a party of 6, including a small child, and we wanted a variety to choose from. We were not disappointed! Seated promptly, drinks quickly served. We took a while deciding what we wanted because it just all sounded so good! We started with appetizers; fresh potato skins and homemade chips and salsa! We did not leave anything on the plate! Then, we ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, Reuben, patty melt and Buffalo chicken wrap.. very little leftovers! Everything was delicious. Fresh coleslaw was the best we've ever had! We had a wonderful experience dining on the breezy, covered deck. The service was outstanding, and the catfish was both tender and flaky. We tried both the grilled and fried options, each served with a choice of two sides, and both meals were fantastic—especially for the price! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. It's definitely a great spot to dine, and I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area. I ordered the quesadilla burger and also sampled the pulled pork and ribs, all of which were really tasty. The parking lot is quite spacious, so there always seems to be an available spot, and I enjoyed sitting outside. Overall, it’s a fantastic place, and I would recommend it to others.
