My husband and his friends attempted to have lunch at this restaurant with a total of five people. The sign indicated that they were at full capacity, so he asked if it would be possible for us to sit in the other dining area. The waitress/bartender was rude and told us that they were not understaffed, so they would not open up another area for us to sit. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. My group of 10 called ahead for a reservation and were told we would be served first. However, when we arrived, we were not seated ahead of anyone else. We were made to wait for about 40 minutes, during which time over 20 other groups of varying sizes were seated before us. We spoke to the staff about the issue three times and each time were told there was no room for us. We were essentially told that we should never come back if we didn't want to wait.
The restaurant was too dimly lit and despite being relatively empty, we had to wait a long time for our food. The menu was limited and didn't offer many options. I ordered the chicken strips and they were dry and tough. Even though the bill came to about $35, my father had a salad and my sister had the chicken sandwich.
Had the most wonderful dining experience! Love that they a kids menu that kids (7&10yrs old) will eat at a very reasonable price! All the steaks were done to perfection and my salmon was just right. With Great Lakes Shipping Company closed now, I think we've found our new Grand Rapids favorite for dinner!!

My husband and I came for lunch on a trip from Petoskey, we stop at this Brann every time we are in town and this visit is not disappointed. Brittany L was our server and she was absolutely fantastic, we could not have asked for a better server or better lunch!
I remember All You Can Eat Rib's night! I love it! Mike, our server was attentive and about things without disturbing. The ribs? I never had ribs where the meat was so anxious to eat fell directly from the bone! Another cozy dinner at Brann's!
not busy. steak was cooked medium instead of medium rare. hadn't gotten rolling, they had to ask for them. had to ask twice for salt and pepper. had to refill and 3.19 for pop, which at least a 300% mark up. really disappointed.
This place is amazing. The food was great. Mike our waiter was the model for customer service!!!! I wish we lived in Michigan so we could come back.
