Appalling. We had a confit duck leg salad with an unwelcome addition a slug crawled out from the lettuce and walked around the plate. When we called the manager over, he simply removed the slug and put it in the nearby bin, explaining that it’s a bio salad and that this sometimes happens. No replacement food, no change of plate to remove the slug slime, nothing. The salad cost 22€ which was way overpriced even without the slug. To add insult to injury, the bread tasted of soap and had obviously been cut by someone who hadn’t rinsed their hands properly. Avoid this place for the sake of your health.

We arrived late lunchtime after travelling but were seated and served quickly and politely. The plat du jour was good followed by warm raspberries over vanilla ice cream delicious! The two people who run it were genuinely friendly and the atmosphere was what you would want from a French restaurant in a village. We enjoyed it so much we returned in the evening. This time there was a storm but we here happy to shelter inside.
