Brasserie De La Digue

We have gone to this brasserie numerous times over the last 9 years and it seems to just keep sliding downhill. They specialise in seafood and have daily specials. The food is OK, the moules have always been fresh and good but they are very expensive for a casual and dated brasserie. There was a time when a new manager came in and it seemed to improve but we haven't seen him this last year. In the first week of June, during the hot holiday weekend we went to have a late lunch. We sat down and were noticed by a waitress. After 15 minutes she finally gave us a menu. After 25 minutes she had not even attempted to come and get our order. We sat for a further 5 minutes and she did not even appear...

We had a nice meal here. The food was good, the location is nice. But the service is incredibly slow. It was busy and it seems there was only one waitress for a huge area. We waited long to see the menu when we waited... long to order. Luckily we were not in a hurry and the food was good.

To flee!!! Recuited molds served in a cream juice without flavor, difficult to do worse. Exorbitant prices for products and wines whose quality is not at the rendezvous. Toilet hygiene deplorable. Amateurs or impostors, the border is thin, pass your way.

Very limited menu and if you do not eat fish, avoid. Also costly: two smoked salmon 'platters' each contained one slice, plus toast and creamy dressing. The plus a bottle of water costs almost £60 a lot for a café. Capitalization on the beach. Reserva una mesa ahora

Honteux!!!! Indisposable and very unpleasant server, we were smoking when we want to make a request, very long services 45 min for a pizza, No excuses from them or the boss, they must change their profession. Anyway, don't understand!

We had 3 pizzas, one salad, one sausage chips, four small beers and a juice, and the bill came to €98.00!! The pizza's were burnt and way too salty. The staff were unfriendly. AVOID THIS PLACE!! You have been warned!

We were careful after bad reviews, do not believe the hype! The food was nice, served on the beach and the staff was friendly. Had a varied menu and visited several times during our two-week stay.
