Brasserie De L'hyppocampe

Good. We enjoyed our impromptu visit to Bar Brasserie de L'Hyppocampe after seeing the nearby Merville battery museum it certainly seemed better than the reviews indicated. We arrived on a wet, dull overcast afternoon. The town was quiet and so was the bar but it was warm conveniently located by the seafront. The hosts were welcoming very friendly, one is a Beatles enthusiast, hence the walls are adorned with Beatles posters some memorabilia. The café bar has an almost art deco feel in the way that it is decorated. It's comfortable, clean and ugly out with tables inside out. I went there with my children, not big world at the restaurant to arrive, 30 min after our arrival, still no ordering, the table arrive after us already aperitif, order taken, and we nothing so we left Staffs unpleasant

Despite the cohue of the festival, the server has taken care to install us warmly inside! Nice service of quality! Thank you!

We were there for Cidre and Dragon, arranger team, friendly. The kitchen was OK. Anyway, we had a good time.
