I invited my French family for dinner at the Brasserie des Arts et Métiers, formerly known as Le Flo, on a Saturday evening in January 2020. I chose that restaurant because I had already dined there one year before, when it was still Le Flo, and food and service then had been impeccable. Unfortunately, my experience there in January was anything but enjoyable. The chef failed to cook the meat as specified; one of my guests asked for rare , and another of my guests asked for medium rare , but neither meat was cooked as requested. We also had to call the waiter several times to remind him to bring the French fries, and they came very late. The prawns were very good, but we had to ask several times for seafood tools in order to crack open the pincers of the prawns. The waiter finally brought one for 3 people, yes, one for 3 people..... Afterwards, we had to ask, several times again, for rince-doigts or finger bowls, No bread was ever served to our table, while all tables around us were served bread. Nobody ever stopped at the table to ask if everything was all right. At one point, I asked to talk to a manager. A young lady came, listened to my complaints, and offered no meaningful apology. One redeeming factor: the sole was excellent and expertly prepared. The bill came up to 363 euros, which I should have spent at another place
