my wife and I had lunch here and were so impressed that we brought our friends to dinner two days later. it was a big mistake. my French is not fluent, but I have in the regular problems to order food. my wife and I ordered escargot and got chicken-ergizzard salad. when we explained that this was not what we ordered, we were told that there was no escargot. our friends didn't get what they had ordered. our steaks who were ordered three a point a saignon were all saignon and when I asked, I'm a sorbet chassis dessert and was said, yes I was served an fruit salad, and not a very nice one. perhaps the front of the house staff is not actually French. it's such a shame because the previous lunch...
Great menu choices, we were spoiled for choice but settled with Menu of the day and were more than delighted. The food was beautifully cooked and presented, compliments to the chef for imagination and food combination. Waiter Jonathan was superb...one of the best waiters we...have ever had, so helpful and attentive..he merits an award for his excellent service. Highly recommended for lunch if you get the opportunity. We shall return.too this gem of a Brasserie.
I stumbled over this restaurant on the way to the railway station after a three-day walk along the nantes to the brest canal. my lunch was wonderful. the escape was a very fresh salad with a citrus vinaigrette lining and the plate was fish. in a light butter sauce. the highlight was dessert that consisted of the sortiment of elements selected by my server. the room is light and airy and very clean. my server was lovely. the price was very reasonable.

We were five people all in quest of a good meal of mussels. This restaurant really scored a big hit. This is a cosy restaurant directly across from the covered farmers' market in the city center. We all ordered mussels and all were very pleased...with the choice. What can I say? The servings were generous and delicious. This was the best meal of mussels I had this year in France. Would I return--in a heart beat.
The staff were exceptional, we have no command of French language, but the young woman who served was very good, she talked us through the menu in English. Fantastic fixed course menu for euro. We were so taken with quality of the food...and the service we ate their on three occasions. Highly recommended
We ate here twice as we were so impressed the first time. Great service and friendly relaxed atmosphere. Choice of set menus or a la carte. We were recommended to try a wine not on the wine list. Very good choice and not overpriced. We...would certainly go back again if we were in the area.
While I didn't expect it at all I had the surprise to see eels on the menu. Excelly cooked. Quick and efficient service. A good atmosphere or boss, servers and customers sing in unison.
