Brasserie du Martray

After reading the reviews for this restaurant we went out of our way to have lunch during our month long vacation in France. What a disappointment! My husband ordered a sandwich to which the response was we have no bread! We suggested they go next...door to the boulangerie to get some. Our waitress said it was closed and they had no bread. It was Not closed because we saw people coming out with bread and sandwiches. I encouraged my husband to go next door to get a sandwich while I ate my Caesar salad. We saved 2.5 euros on our meal for the same sandwich he would have gotten at the restaurant. I'd pass this one by unless you are a biker.

Nice brasserie for lunch. We shared 2 pizzas the margarita and the baltique (smoked salmon and creme fraiche) both very good quality pizzas. Quick delivery of food and drinks after ordering. Only complaint was the slow service in acknowledging us as customers and bringing...us menus. We initially sat in the bar area as these were the only seats available, and were pretty much ignored until we grabbed a table outside. After that everything was great.

On a recent holiday to St Cast le Guildo, we ate here as a family of 9 and also as a couple. The service was exemplary on both occasions and the food was extremely fresh and well presented. I'd definitely recommend the Galettes (savoury pancakes)...and they also have a variety of set menus at very reasonable prices as well as pizzas, steaks etc. If you're in the area, make sure you visit.

I had the best salad of my trip to Brittany at this unpretentious and tasty restaurant. The service was excellent and the menu catered to multiple tastes, including my vegan ones. The clientele was definitely diverse, including numerous locals. Highly recommended. Reserva una mesa ahora
