We were pleasantly surprised yes it was late(ish) 9pm by the time we finally got here (having exhausted all other options) and really we felt that most staff in other restaurants could not be bothered as they were probably employees and the owners absent and the town was heaving with tourists, even though in many there were tables free. This place welcomed us and the food, although simple, was good and the ingredients of quality. More importantly, the staff were welcoming, kept their sense of humour even though clearly very tired, which compared very favourably with one place I can 't remember the name which when asked whether they had a table for 5 responded, what do you mean a table of 5, I can 't even give you a table for 1, 2 or 3 I translate, but the man was just rude and this is Provence, not Paris. Anyway, suffice to say that this is a welcoming place, in spite of it being our last resort; wish we had chosen it before trying to get into others.

200 meters from the old village (pedestrian zone), close to a public parking. Dinner with friends (6 in total). The french dish I ordered, entrecote, was good (well done and well presented). Two of us opted for Italian dishes, result a nightmare. First, escalope a la milaneaise; it was served with (in the same dish) spaghetti a la bolognaise as a side dish. Even worse the spaghetti carbonara in which the yolk was added on top of the dish and just to improve the taste mushrooms were added in good quantity. Vice-versa the Titamisu was at the level of an Italian chef. No Wi-Fi. Price extremely reasonable. Wait time acceptable. We didn 't dare to try the pizzas. Not bad, but absolutely avoid the Italian dishes!!!

We needed some food on a late Saturday noon (13:30). We were hungry and pressured for time so we weren't picky. We ordered a lasagne and a penne bolognaise. Both dishes were pure cantina food quality. The pasta sauce had zero taste (even after a considerate amount of pepper and salt). The lasagna was 80% dough, 10% meat and 10% cheese (granted the cheese was delicious) which made the dish really heavy and again little taste. Also only 1 toilet for the whole restaurant. On the upside the waiters were friendly.

We ate att the restaurant in a Monday evening when most places in the town were closed. The service was good but food was average. I had lasagne with salad and my husband had steak and chips which he enjoyed. Prices were ok.
