Went there on the night of the Chorégies. Everywhere else was offering silly set menus at silly prices when the only food we wanted was a quick sandwich and a drink of water. Before a 3 hours opera, that's all you can handle. They let us sat there for 2 hours, we had 2 perriers each and let us eat sandwiches bought from a nearby bakery. Good on them. And next time we are in Orange, we will most definitely go and eat there, just to at least thank them for being so friendly.
We loved everything about this place! We were going to sit at one of the outdoor restaurants but it was a very hot and humid evening. We opted for this place instead as it was nice and cool. The cocktails were lovely and the service was fantastic. And, the seafood was fresh and delicious! Our server was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for a nice dinner if you are in Avignon.
We had a Greek salad, 12 snails and rump steak with rose wine for lunch. The service was great and attentive, the waiter had a great sense of humor. The highlight was definitely the food- yum! Mid to expensive, but considering the location, to be expected. A great meal overall.
Really love this place - every time we go to Avignon, we try to drop in. Service is excellent (thank you Vincent), prices are keen and food is just what you would expect from a top end French brasserie - oysters were lovely - it's on the main drag up to the main square Reserva una mesa ahora
Starters: Greek Salad, Pâté de fois gras = superb. Tuna main served with ratatouille rice which was cold. Returned to kitchen and came back slightly better but no one from kitchen came. Waitress asked how it was but not helped by manager.
Expensive , The food was wonderful, we were with a tour group , the waitress had no idea what type of fish was being served , nor did she know what our options were . The manager himself threw a drink on our table and hugged and puffed .
A larger establishment - with most of the tables indoors. A large menu and very good service. We were there as part of a large group and the level of service was still good. We had dinner there on two occasions.
Salads, burgers and other good choices you can find here. The "moules" were great, and also the burger. Maybe the Caesar salad wasn't so good, but it's a good choice if you want to visit Avignon... Reserva una mesa ahora
A good variety of salads and excellent service with champagne to order by a roadside seating. Experienced immense Asian buzz around the cafe!
