"We came all the way from Strasbourg touring Alsace and stayed at Holiday Inn which is 1 minute walk form the restaurant. The restaurant shut down early and you have no chance to get a service. This way you are forced to use the Holiday Inn expensive restaurant and pay 60 Euro per dish, or go by car to Quick, which also shuts down at 23:00"

Brasserie is attached to the Holiday Inn, Mulhouse. The menu is a good mix, with seafood, meats and salads.Quality overall is pretty good (though 1 steak we had was more fatty than meat), but it is the service on the 3 occasions we were there which lets it down. Each time the restaurant wasn't busy, nor understaffed, but the waiting staff just seem disorganised. We had long waits to get a menu, place an order, get drinks etc . One one occasion I ordered a beer, I could see what i thought was my beer on the counter, but never received it and the waiter admitted to this when I eventually got the bill. Another, we had started our main courses before we eventually got the wine. We weren't the only couple who had these frustrations either, as a few other families, groups and couples could be seen expressing their feelings to the staff.... Its a pity and when we tried to address it with the waiter, they just shrugged. Lets it down.

This attractive restaurant is located in a Holiday Inn. Don't be put off by that. It is attractive place with wonderful food. Everything bee had was delicious and attractively presented. We didn't see anything served that didn't look great. The only reason it didn't rate a fiver is the service was really poor. The servers seemed overwhelmed. After May meal was brought to the table the server forgot the sauce for the steak. My food sat on the table for ten minutes until the, after three requests, to finally arrive. After we ate the d used dishes sat on the table for almost 15 minutes before the table was bussed and dessert menus delivered.

My wife and I stopped at the hotel before taking the TGV to Paris and this restaurant is adjoining. The seafood starter was excellent although my wife's salmon starter she found to be too salty with the balance not being quite right. I had the T-bone for main course and it was superb, and my wife chose the swordfish which she described as "magnifique". Desserts were equally pleasing and the bottle of local wine rounded off an enjoyable evening. The staff were attentive and courteous and should be congratulated for their efforts.

It was again a perfect food experience. But the service could be a little better. Bread on request. Had the impression that amuse bouche canapés were ready to be served but were not served. But go for the food. Especially if you booked on an internet booking engine and you get additional discount. Worth the price Café complet: the dessert coffee combo. Same with the soup combo I had as starter. Perfect to experience multiple flavors. My personal must: beef tartare was served to perfection.
