With the threat of rain, we were lucky to be given a table for two right by the front window, overlooking the street and their terrace. First priority was to choose the right bottle of wine to accompany our entree. Since it was Friday, we both chose the "Plats du Jour", great seafood Bouillabaisse and accompanied with a bottle of Drouhin's very dry chablis (very full and enjoyable). We started with the leeks in hoillandaise and finished with creme brule and profiteroles de Jules. Then we rolled down the hill back to our hotel.Great food and service. A classic French Bistro!
Our group of four ate at Chez Jules and we all loved it. Service was quick, food was exceptional, and the outside setting next to the artists along St. Anne street was fun and lively. Our server turned out to be the manager, and he was cheerful and funny, as well as generous! The salmon and the goat cheese salad were delicious, as well as the escargot. My husband's pork shoulder was excellent. They had a nice wine list. Highly recommend this place!!
The prices at this restaurant were quite reasonable, but the food did not have the expected flavors. For example, the French onion soup was not made with wine, so it tasted like a regular soup without anything special. The duck was a bit dry. The costs of wine were good, with markups around 2x instead of 3-4 times, and the selection was decent but not extensive.
Situé à proximité du Château de Frontenac, nous y avons été pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner. Nous n'avons pas été déçu. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et copieux. Nous avions choisi le croissant et la cocotte bénédictine. Pour le dîner, nous avions pris entrée/plat/dessert. Les assiettes sont généreuses et de qualité.Nous recommandons ce restaurant

On my first night in Quebec City, I visited this restaurant to experience some delicious French cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it exceeded my expectations. The food was fantastic and the servers were friendly. I highly recommend this place.
A must if you stay in Quebec! The food is delicious and the wait staff is very friendly. We had wonderful French cuisine and great wine! You should have reservations though as it is a small restaurant and very popular for evening meals...
The location is great, ambience is good, service is decent, and the food is good too. Our hotel gave us a discount at this restaurant and we didn't regret it. Definitely worth a try. Tip: Trust the waiter to advise you on what to order.
We had made a reservation through the OpenTable app earlier that morning for our booking. When we arrived on time, the host informed us that they could not accommodate us, as they do not accept OpenTable reservations.

Très bon menu du jour pour un prix raisonnable. Service irréprochable. Installés sur la terrasse voilà que l'orage éclate. tout a été mis en oeuvre pour nous mettre à l'abri en salle et avec le sourire!
Excellent meal with great service. Small seating area with seats near your neighbor. Overall great food with gourmet chef!
