Brasserie Kanterbrau

We had not reserved but we were given a good table, and we were waiting for someone,stuck in traffic. Not once did they comment on the fact that they were full and needed us to order. We had an aperitif while waiting and the servers were all very nice. We ordered omelette, burger and OH WHAT A DELICIOUS CHOUCROUTE. I have never been to Alsace (home of the French choucroute), but what a wonderful dish that was. One of us had an ile flottante for desert and it was delicious. The day we went was very busy and quite noisy, but that’s what a brasserie is. The staff was good and efficient. Next year when I come back in this region I will definitely go and eat a choucroute there.

I appreciated the place, well decorated. I requested a steak/french fries called pavé de boeuf. It was cooked to my liking however it was a little chewy. French fries were well fried. Our server Sophie was excellent. First of all she brought us a water pitcher twice without us asking. Then I noticed how she was cleaning tables to perfection. She was honest with the food served (home made or not). I recommend this place.

Dont eat here, i got plastik in the food, and They did nothing about it, Dangerous to eat there,please don’t eat at this restaurant for your own safety

Great food to cater everyone and helpful staff. Traditional food and good sized portions. We will be back for sure.
