A very pleasant restaurant for friends, couples and family gatherings. There were 14 of us, including two toddlers and a baby plus our boxer dog. Because we were a group , we preferred to make a reservation on the phone , it was just a couple hours before the scheduled time. From the manager on the phone to the waiters and waitresses, everyone was helpful, kind and very welcoming. They also gave our dog a bowl of fresh water. The restaurant itself is very nicely- decorated, clean and spacious. We had lunch upstairs and all of us could sit together at one assembled rectangular table. We have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and we used it before it relocated from the Shopping Mall to it's present location.There are three separate areas: The ground floor outside area,the ground floor internal area and the first floor area.All areas are always busy but I prefer the first floor, even if there is space in the other areas.The food is generally very good and the service is efficient but the kitchen does seem to have trouble coping around 13.00 hrs.The wine is fairly priced and the carafes are very good value. However, to date we have never managed the 'Plat du jour' as it has always sold out. Children are well catered for with a child's menu and a wide variety...

we went three times over two weeks holiday in the French riviera, we have just got to the place addicted! service was perfect, “au petit soin” as French partner would say! and eating was amazing, risotto is simply perfect, fish as well as, perfectly cooked. last but last but not least cheesecake is pure addictive, I am challenged, not in a position to find such a delicious place where I live!!!

When we go shopping in La Valette we always go to Le France.The service is great and correct. The food arrives incredibily fast and is of great quality. For a price less than 20 euros we have an excellent bottle of rosé wine.Don't go to...late there, the daydish is always sold out within the hour after opening.It is pleasant to have your lunch on the terrace.

went shopping in the la valette business center and decided to eat with our friends at lunchtime. the daily ticket €15.90 was roasted with galette potatoes and imitated with strawberry charcoal with lemon balms. both are really good. this is a lively brasserie to...lunch time and worth a visit.
