Its difficult to find a reasonably priced restaurant for lunch in the touristic area of the Old Port of Marseille. FIRST TIP which comes from locals is to avoid the restaurants along the Old Port: I am advised that they are more expensive than what they are worth, and much of the food is frozen, not of fresh origin. Staying in the Panier/Old Port area I found it difficult to find a small restaurant for lunch which includes a main dish, a glass of wine, dessert, and coffee at a reasonable price. Most restaurants in the Panier area, just above the Old Port usually only include a main dish and, maybe coffee OR dessert for a minimum of 20 to 25€. An excellent restaurant, tasty dishes, moderate prices and a beautiful atmosphere of inhabitant (very good sign, they are not mistaken on local cuisine), pleasant with the Patron. You're not from Marseilles? No problem, the reception will be cordial. Everything but a catcher. Long live on the 19th of May on its terrace!

Restaurant without pretention that serves very good dishes, I find the low prices for the proposed quality! We waited a bit for the dishes but very well eaten, generous portions. In addition, the welcome is very warm. I won't hesitate to come back.
