This review is for the brasserie. We were very happy to eat here. I booked a week in advance as we celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, it has not delivered at any level. The whole ambience felt very inexperienced, everyone accused themselves for their mistakes. The food was from a “good level” in terms of preparation, but it was missing everything impressive. We wouldn't return for dinner, that's safe. We won't come back at all. What really *ruined* the experience (and I mean crushing it on the ground was the service we received from our waitress, and the inability of Maitre D/Manager to communicate with us. It was quite funny, the server that was the problem had to translate for the Maitre D/Manager when she rolled her eyes after every translation! We felt we were in a dark comedy! Don't people understand facial expressions? It is a universal language, so please, as a professional, your manners and your rude face to think of your customers. We were never offered water (each single table had a pitcher of still/soda water. They forgot to add a main ingredient (soaked chestnuts to my risotto, and when I asked the waitress about it, she was very disturbed and called “She didn’t know”, in an rude tone that felt uncomfortable for even asking. She then brought the chestnuts halfway, though my meal and didn't seem apologetic at all. I was too crowded to eat more. I ordered the appetite size of the Risotto and it was huge and very Blande (natural bc “a” forgotten to add the main ingredient! She accused the kitchen and seemed angry at me because she raised it. It is team working people (kitchens and servers need to work together in a restaurant for ultimate success! The Maitre d later came to apologize for not knowing it was a birthday party. “It was the hotel mistakes” she said they didn’t give her the notes of the reservation right. By the way, I booked on their restaurant hotel website, so I don't see how much clearer you can be! Either way, that meant nothing to us. Is that her way to apologize? — So if they handed HAD the notes of our booking right through the hotel and knew that it was a birthday, would they have done things differently? It was a very confusing statement, not comforting. There was a shiny star in this restaurant, I think she was a bartender or maybe a table party. After about 20 minutes being ignored with nothing to drink, I went to the bar and she was there. When I explained what happened, she came so fast and seemed appalled by all empty glasses on the table. They did not even have the trouble to remove which were not used. At one point we had 6 empty glasses on the table (as we kindly waited for someone to look in our direction. If they had excused or tried to do ANYTHING to make such a bad experience, they would get 3 stars. Because she's a 40. Day dinner ruined and treated us so bad, they get 1 star. So many amazing restaurants in the area, we have already tried a few and will continue to try more. Don't go here! ;
