Wir hatten eine Tisch für 4 Personen reserviert für ein Mittagessen im August. Gemäß Auskunft war es nur draußen möglich zu essen. Leider bekamen wir einen Tisch gleich bei der Kasse und zudem mit Bänken ohne Rückenlehnen anstatt Stühlen. Nachdem wir zum Tisch geführt wurden, ging es wieder einige Minuten, bis wir überhaupt und nur dank Blickkontakt mit dem Personal, die Speisekarte erhielten. Apropos Personal: dieses war ziemlich desorientiert, eher laut (untereinander) und insgesamt vom Auftreten her unter dem Level der Brasserie Schiller. Obwohl wir uns ziemlich schnell entschieden haben (3x Tagesmenue, 1x Tatare) verging wiederum einige Zeit, bis wir bestellen könnten. Erst bei der Beste...
Bin jetzt vergangenen Freitag zum zweiten mal dort gewesen und wurde erneut unglaublich vom Service enttäuscht. Der Kellner war dermaßen unfreundlich. Ich bestellte mir ein alkoholfreies Bier was er direkt zu Beginn mit einer anfälligen Bemerkung kommentierte, als wäre es ein Verbrechen keinen Alkohol zu trinken?! Als er mir dieses brachte fragte ich Ihn ob ich denn noch etwas zu essen bekommen könnte oder ob es bereits zu spät ist (es war bereits 21 Uhr) er meinte normalerweise ja aber nicht für jemanden wie mich?! Daraufhin habe ich bezahlt und bin gegangen. Trotz der schönen Lage werde ich dieses Establishment nie wieder besuchen, Frechheit wir man hier behandelt wird.

Once they accept the price, the dazzling food is just fantastic. it was already too late for us to midday and after check-out the opernrestaurant as well as decided to stay at shiller for better/more options menu. everything was excellent. but if they. have time to go to the old city uou have many nice search options too much better preisen.
Okay, if you want to repay for mediocre food and be totally ignored, and if you complain, be treated very badly, never again. At first, it's almost amusing when you are misunderstood, but then you feel invisible and it's impossible to get everyone attention.... All the other tables turned around me, why are lonely ignored?
Der Service war lausig und das Essen kalt. Schreckliches Erlebnis für einen teuren Businesslunch. Es ist auch inakzeptabel, dass über Mittag Menüs nur über Fr. 28.00 angeboten werden. Die Lage ist zwar traumhaft aber entschuldigt das miserable Preis - Leistungsverhältnis auf keinen Fall.
Kürzlich war ich wieder einmal in der Goethe Bar. Die Bar war sehr gut besucht und trotzdem war der Service unglaublich aufmerksam. So etwas habe ich in Zürich selten erlebt. Ein riesengrosses Kompliment an Charly, Peter und ihr Team!

Unfortunately, a real shame, a Tartar big came as an insulting little dish and the waiters smiled at us as in demand. Inelegant how it can be accepted in a place like Zurich!
Great food, friendly staff. We had a very good evening with friends.
