Surreal impolite staff. I seldom leave any reviews, but today I must write down mine for the first time. We, 5 women, checked if there was an empty table. The first staff was unfriendly. The second staff (an older man with glasses) dare to ask us whether anyone is a masseuse because of his backpain. on the first look this looked locally like a classic German brewhouse, very rustic. the bad experiences began immediately, as there was no menu in English, but only in German. To order, we decided to let ourselves be advised by the waiter who offered us a meat mix for 11 people what we were. the beer glasses were small, but once one was finished, the waiter quickly brought the next, even if it was not required. the meat plates were very scary and could not calm our appetit, even the salat insert left a bad taste in the mouth, as it was seasoned with unpleasant sauces. Wonderful, authentic German brewery restaurant. I went for an early Saturday dinner to avoid the crowds. Lots of young people at the outside front tables, but there were plenty of open tables inside. An older festival group occupied the nice outside patio in back. Start with your first of many Alt beers. They will keep bringing them, and mark your coaster. The pork schnitzel topped with egg and with potatoes was amazing. The waiter spoke English, provided an English menu, and was patient and clear explaining the Schnitzel special page that was only in German. Waiters were attentive and proactive in bringing the next beer. So lucky to have been staying near this place!
typical Rhenish cuisine and exquisite beer. all good from the haxe to the potato soup. I've been there several times and I'll still be back. but intentionally, in düsseldorf there are many measuring and in these times you have to eat and stand at the schümacher, it is a well-known and more appreciated place.

I was in this restaurant that was recommended to me super. unfortunately, the reception and the service was very bad. I would advise tourists from this place, it is a local location and they do not even have the menu in English ... let alone speaking it... overall the situation is not bad.
for many, many years we regularly visit the brewery shoemaker on the east road. here it is not so full that the beer and the eating are great and the service is always nice and for having a spicy.Trotz restricted operation we also felt very comfortable this year again!
Awesome food and service. We went for lunch 18 people no reservations no german!! Waiters were super nice and tried some English jokes, food arrived quickly once ordered and it was very tasty. Let's pour rivers of beer .... recommended
a pub, as you can see in the old town of düsseldorf, near the train station and in a quiet street, from 19 clock it is very full. they like to eat and chat.
