on my bike tour from augsburg via mering to friedberg I have put a stop here in the shaded beer garden. it was very windy, right on the wall of the gasthof the church and the big chestnut trees kept the wind well.I tried the day dish (rinderschnetzeltes with rösti and salat) - it was very tasty and beautifully dressed. and that was also inexpensive.I then crashed at the parking lot and pulled a wound. the nice lady at the reception of the hotel as well as hotel guests from Switzerland have taken care of me exemplary. thank you!

the brewery is located just outside of augsburg near friedberg, which is easily accessible. it basically offers a bright and a dark beer, between the two is to avoid the dark, while the bright is discreet (but frankly I don't have to say anything extraordinary) the restaurant offers typical German dishes, well prepared, well a small beer garden to eat, outside, quiet chat, ideal for spending two hours in rest at a neat beer. we wanted to eat as a three-headed family after a cycling flight there at 18 o'clock on Saturday evening. asking for polite questions on our part, where we can take a place, we were told quite unwise that one must either be one of the numerous companies or be hotel guest to be served. a very nice beer garden, where you can eat and drink. depending on the waitress, this can be associated with waiting time. eating is grounded, but very good - we were happy to surprise. prices are somewhat over averaged for the opposite, but the local is always well visited and in the beer garden is also no self-service. parking is located directly next to it and offers excellent parking.

we stayed in the hotel (very decent) and used the opportunity to eat there in the evening. a limited but high quality card. a more limited quantity than usual in Germany, but more than enough for us and compensated by quality and taste.
