Brauhaus Kloster Machern

A very interesting and historic complex of buildings housing museums, brewery, winery, restaurant, function rooms, etc. we ate in the Brauhaus and the interior is stunning we were not prepared for the really cool Art Deco design inside. The food and drink was excellent, with surprisingly reasonable prices. Will definitely come back.

We sat inside. It was very very noisy, could barely hear each other. The sweinenhaxle was huge and good. It's better to sit outside if you don't like such a noisy surroundings.

A nice spot to stop for a lunch and a drink on a warm summers day. The schnitzel was a touch dry but otherwise all was good. Lovely bar room.

Great beer, food is ok. Schnitzel was too thin. Beer sauce thickened with flour and not a lot of taste.
