I wanted two scoops on a cone with a cup because I like to dip the cone into the cup—it makes it less messy for my beard. However, I was surprised to find out that Braum's doesn’t provide cups without charging for them. One of the women suggested I use a small water cup instead, which was free. I didn't ask for anything for free; maybe my biker look gave her that impression? I'm not sure. After several frustrating exchanges, during which I had to explain that I was trying to order "scoops" rather than "dips," I finally got a clear answer. It felt like pulling teeth to get clarity. We come here often and love it most of the time but the service and at times food are going down hill lately. The vanilla frozen yogurt machine is broken at least 75% of the time. The lady in the pickup window (day shift) has been rude on several occasions. The chicken strips are more like chicken nuggets and some of the drinks are flat. Hopefully this is temporary because we do enjoy eating here and stopping for ice cream often!
Commerce does not have many fast food places, so naturally Braum's is my friend group's go to. The service is always friendly and accommodating to a large group. They may be slow, but quality is their bread and butter. A combo meal drink can be exchanged for a vanilla or chocolate shake free of charge.
This is the most repulsive Braum's I've ever visited. If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. The air conditioning vents are filled with at least four inches of grime, dust, and who knows how many skin cells from people in the area. I can't understand how anyone could eat in this place. Rachel did a very bad service with us was being rude and they gave us pecans that were as hard as a rock made my mom lose her bracket and yet when I tried talking to her for my mom she said I'm not speaking with you and can be even worse for seniors might even make them lose a tooth
The food at Braum's in Commerce, Texas, was delicious, but the blonde-haired woman who handed me my order was incredibly rude. She closed the doors on me while I was asking for salt and seemed annoyed that I was placing an order. Because of her rudeness, I don’t plan to return.
