Braxtons Brisket Bbq

Stopped in here when we were passing through McCook, NE. At first glance I didn't think much of the place (and I'm a BBQ LOVER). My wife suggested we try it and I waffled. We went back to the car, then decided to try it, and soooo glad we did. Every customer we talked to raved about the food. When we ordered, the owner (Steve) took our order and we had a great conversation. Got some ribs, brisket, beans, mac-n-cheese, and a slice of blueberry pie, to go. We ate back at our RV, and every mouthful was a gastronomic delight. I will say it was some of, if not THE best BBQ I have ever had. Wow!!! The food was absolutely amazing!! I had the cowgirl sundae and my husband had the cowboy sundae!! Both were absolutely amazing and a ton of food!! We had to bring some leftovers home!! Now our son gets to enjoy that!! Love the family atmosphere and the joy of hearing the kids laughter!! The owner was so sweet and I loved being able to talk to her!! She has such a living and caring and giving heart!! We had a very sweet and funny waitress!! Please everyone give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!! We can’t wait to go back!!

Help support this local business. We found this place after checking some other places for ribs all were out. They were out as well but we still got great BBQ rib tips and other great food. Stopped in during a day trip to McCook and loved it!! Great food, quaint restaurant and the owner gave phenomenal service!!! Definitely recommend to anyone while in McCook.

Really good food. Love that the beans are county style and not baked. Hubby I shared a brisket platter and had enough. Would maybe get an extra side next time
