Braxton's Restaurant Bar At The Algonquin Resort

Food and choices were excellent. Dessert excellent. We reserved way in advance and got a table in the bar with 2 low round tables that were not convenient for dining. Good for a drink but not too eat. We wanted the experience of the dining room but got an uncomfortable corner. The server was nice but took time to come see if we needed anything after receiving our food. Extra attention always adds to the experience. I was desappointed on the overall experience but will still recommend the place. I think it was just too busy and crowded.

The service was incredibly slow and the prices were quite high. Our waiter forgot our drinks for over 30 minutes, and when he finally returned, he didn’t remember what we had ordered. The menu was very limited and the portions were small, making it difficult to find good value for the money.

We both had the beef Bourguignon, which I highly recommend. The flavors were wonderful. My only complaint is that there wasn't more of it! Our server was exceptionally friendly and accommodating regarding my friend's milk allergy.

Dissapointed we couldn't order their fish and chips- lunch menu only. Rigatoni was good, but 30$ was steep for it.
