Nice history to the place, look it up as it is worth a quick read. A local artist Jason Trotter (some of his art is fastened to the brick - look up! on the North side of the building) dropped a hint about this place to me. Very happy he did!Every visit is as tasty as the last; as it is cafe/light lunch style of place it does not have a vast menu for food though this is compensated for with superb teas and various coffee decantations. Super spinach salad with goats cheese is a favorite, as is the little-bitty bacon wrapped egg tartlet. I loved BMH when it first opened up. I still love a lot of their products - breakfast burrito, soup, carrot cake (honestly the best) and their london fogs. Their customer service is also amazing. I love that they hire people with different abilities.However, the following are my dislikes:They were closed for 3 months on Saturday to release something big - turns out it was an ugly, yellow coffee display rack - which I could deal with if it wasn't placed between the employees and the customers on the bakery case. The people here are wonderful: Absolutely fantastic staff. The rest of the place is a huge letdown. The food is possibly the worst value in Lethbridge. I paid extra for pesto on my sandwich (which was an already vastly overpriced, dry, chewy, high school cafeteria selection) and I got barely a teaspoon smeared in the middle of my bread. The lattes are distastefully bitter and just as meagre in serving size as the pesto. I have no idea why this place is so darn crowded all the time. I guess it just goes to prove that there are a lot of people who like to overpay for mediocre food while sitting on logs that make church pews seem like a La-Z-Boy recliner.

I just ordered a breakfast burrito & a soup here but is worth reviewing the burrito was very good salsa & burrito  had lots of flavor & one of the better breakfast burrito I have had. I ordered the taco soup but got the wrong soup but could not complain it was amazing. It was the cauliflower & cheddar soup & I do not care for cauliflower but this was awesome.

Stopped in for a coffee first but ended up coming back for lunch and dinner. Amazing baking. The cheese biscuits were huge and tastes great. Had the roast beef sandwich, the spicy chicken and apricot soup (was my favourite and should have doubled up or bought the pot) it was so good, also the tomato basil soup. Atmosphere was relaxed. Friendly staff.

My friends and I love coming here. It's super cute location, the food is good and has lots of healthy options. The coffee is really good as well. You can usually find it populated with university students and is sometimes hard to snag a table. The service is great. Never had a bad experience here.

Love the lattes! Get dessert. Just do it. It's worth it! Maybe have dessert before the sandwich or soup. Very attentive staff. Noise level gets annoying when even the staff can't hear your order, though.

Very busy but good drinks and cookies/muffins/baked goods. Nice place to meet with friends or aqquatainces or for business. Hipster/high class coffee shop vibes for sure.

Stop in here 2-3 times per week for coffee and or a muffin, scone, breakfast burrito,or other goodies. Always fresh, great coffee and atmosphere. Great place!

Been here a few times and totally enjoyed it everytime. Absolutely the BEST lattes in Lethbridge. Food is also really good.
